Santander Teleport

Santander Teleport is a teleport operator offering services for enterprise organisations and government institutions in several markets including government, maritime, enterprise, and defence. The ground station facilities have access to GEO orbital locations spanning from 75° West to 67° East, as well as LEO and MEO passes. The facilities are designed with the highest security and resiliency standards and they are operated 24/7 to support services of a critical nature.

Services include:

  • uplink/downlink using over 20 antennas between 4.5 and 15 metres in size, and operating in different frequency bands
  • hosting of customer´s antennas and equipment

Astrotech Space Operations (ASO)

Astrotech Space Operations Inc. (ASO) is a global satellite processing organisation. ASO is a subsidiary of Astrotech Corporation.

ASO is a commercial supplier of satellite launch processing services in the U.S.A. With over 300 successful spacecraft missions to date, Astrotech continues to provide adaptable and flexible services for its government and commercial customers.

ASO owns and operates payload processing facilities in both Florida and California. ASO launch facilities provide processing areas for a wide range of spacecraft including complex communications, Earth observation, and deep space satellites. Astrotech's facilities can accommodate 5-meter class spacecraft weighing up to 5,000 kilograms.

ASO provides all support necessary for spacecraft processing to prepare for launch on a variety of domestic and foreign launch vehicles. Spacecraft undergo pre-launch hardware integration and testing, satellite encapsulation, and fueling before transport to the pad.

Loral Space & Communications Inc.

Loral Space & Communications Inc. is a satellite communications company. The company was formed in 1996 from the remnants of Loral Corporation when Loral divested its defense electronics and system integration businesses to Lockheed Martin.

Loral has an investment in Telesat Canada in partnership with the Public Pension Investment Board of Canada. The company also participates in a number of international and domestic joint ventures, including an ownership stake in XTAR.

In Nov. 2012, Loral Space & Communications Inc. sold its manufaturing subsidiary SS/L to MDA.
