European Launch Vehicle (ELV)

European Launch Vehicle (ELV) is an Italian company established by Avio and ASI (Italian Space Agency) in December 2000.

It was selected by ESA, the European Space Agency, to serve as prime contractor in the activities geared to the development of the European launcher, called Vega, and other small launchers with all associated technologies. The company is responsible for every aspect of system development, from the drafting of the specifications, through production, to its integration in the launch pad. Elv's primary tasks include managing and planning launcher design, development, qualification and production processes, by coordinating the activities of the subcontracts participating in the programme. Moreover, ELV coordinates and ensures the integration of the launcher in the lift-off facilities and participates with a team in the final stage of the launch.

At present (Nov. 2013) ELV is owned 70% by Avio SpA and 30% by ASI. Headquartered in Rome, it has an operational facility in Colleferro (Rome, Italy), where Avio has its main aerospace operations: one of the most dynamically innovative production centres, at the forefront of science and technology.

Innovative Space Logistics (ISL)

Innovative Space Logistics BV is a subsidiary of ISIS (Innovative Solutions In Space BV).

Innovative Space Logistics is focused on the provision of regular launches for CubeSats, nanosatellites and microsatellites and provides launch brokering services, technical consultancy, launch adapters and dispensers, flight certification testing and launch insurance services to a broad range of customers.

It was founded in 2009 to become the focal point of all launch services activities at ISIS, just before the first ISIS launch campaign took place in September 2009.

Astrotech Space Operations (ASO)

Astrotech Space Operations Inc. (ASO) is a global satellite processing organisation. ASO is a subsidiary of Astrotech Corporation.

ASO is a commercial supplier of satellite launch processing services in the U.S.A. With over 300 successful spacecraft missions to date, Astrotech continues to provide adaptable and flexible services for its government and commercial customers.

ASO owns and operates payload processing facilities in both Florida and California. ASO launch facilities provide processing areas for a wide range of spacecraft including complex communications, Earth observation, and deep space satellites. Astrotech's facilities can accommodate 5-meter class spacecraft weighing up to 5,000 kilograms.

ASO provides all support necessary for spacecraft processing to prepare for launch on a variety of domestic and foreign launch vehicles. Spacecraft undergo pre-launch hardware integration and testing, satellite encapsulation, and fueling before transport to the pad.

ISC Kosmotras

The International Space Company Kosmotras or ISC Kosmotras is a joint project, between Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, established in 1997.

It developed and now operates a commercial expendable launch system using the Dnepr rocket. The Dnepr is a converted Soviet era SS-18 ICBM decommissioned as part of the START Treaty. ISC Kosmotras conducts Dnepr launches at both Baikonur Cosmodrome and at a new Yasny launch base in Dombarovskiy, Russia.

Starsem

Starsem is a European-Russian company that was created in 1996 to commercialise the Soyuz launch services on the international market. It is Starsem is headquartered in Évry, France (near Paris).

Starsem is dedicated to providing commercial launch services with the reliable and proven Soyuz family of launch vehicles.  The European-Russian organization brings together all key players involved in the production and operation of Soyuz and is responsible for international sales of the world's most versatile launch vehicle.

Starsem offers the Soyuz for a broad range of mission needs, including satellite telecommunications systems, scientific spacecraft, and Earth observation / meteorological platforms.

Starsem provides a turnkey service, from manufacture of the launch vehicle to mission preparations at the Baikonur Cosmodrome and successful in-orbit delivery of payloads.

As of Nov. 2012, Starsem has performed the following launches :  Mars Express, Venus Express, Golbalstar communication satellites,  METOP the European satellite for meteorology, etc.  On 21 Oct. 2011, the first launch of the Soyuz rocket was made from the Kourou Space Centre, in Gyuanna.
