Write a comment

The Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM) is a large French space astrophysics laboratory. The LAM is a joint research unit of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and Aix-Marseille Université (AMU).

Astrophysics research at LAM covers a broad range of topics, from solar system to cosmology. LAM researchers lead or participate in large observational, data analysis and simulation programs. Thanks to its technical department and modern and well-equipped facilities, LAM also leads or participates in major instrumental programs from national and international agencies (CNES, ESA, ESO, NASA). LAM receives substantial financial support from the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES).
